Dr Christine Underhill
BDS MSc (Lon) MOrth RCS (Eng) Dip Orth RCS (Eng)
Dr Christine Underhill established Edgecliff Orthodontics in 1997, seven years after arriving in Australia. She completed her undergraduate training in Cardiff, Wales, and then finished her specialist orthodontic program at the Royal London Hospital obtaining her Masters of Orthodontics and Membership in Orthodontics at the Royal College of Surgeons, England.
After traveling through Asia and Australia, Dr Underhill promptly fell in love with Sydney and the Australian way of life. She now lives in Clovelly with her husband, Andy, and their two sons. She enjoys pilates, yoga, walking her dog ‘Scruffy’, and is a keen environmentalist.
Dr Underhill is passionate about providing the highest level of orthodontic care in a relaxed, friendly environment.
Dr Medy Liong
BE (Chem) BA BDent (Hons) (Syd) MOrth (HK) MOrth RCSEd
Dr Medy Liong completed a combined Bachelor of Chemical Engineering and Bachelor of Arts at the University of Sydney in 2002, after which she went backpacking around Europe for a year.
Dr Liong then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Dentistry (Honours) in 2008, also at the University of Sydney. Following this, she completed her Masters of Orthodontics at the University of Hong Kong in 2013, and was awarded Membership in Orthodontics at the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh.
Apart from being obsessed with orthodontics and thinking about her patient’s teeth all the time, Dr Liong also loves running and spending time with her young family.
